1. Phrase a tagline and make it visible

If possible, try to make your taglines clear and appealing, and have a clear picture of your audience as you’re deciding on your tagline. Use a few words to clearly describe what your site’s all about. It can help to use verbs and sentences that imply an action for the visitor, to activate them.
2. What is your unique value proposition?
Your brand is your promise to the customer. So it’s important you develop a brand that conveys a unique value proposition to customers—something that stands out. Think about why your customers choose you over the competition. Are your products more dependable? Do they have a longer life? Or are they less expensive than others in the market?
3. Choose a brand name that delivers your message clearly
Once you have identified your customers’ needs and desires, it’s time to choose a brand name to deliver that message clearly.
Make sure your brand name will become familiar to your audience. That means you should use that brand name! Make sure to use your brand name in your newsletter and in your (Facebook) posts. People should hear and read your brand name regularly!
4. Research competitor brands within your industry
You should never imitate exactly what the big brands are doing in your industry.
But, you should be aware of what they do well (or where they fail).
The goal is to differentiate from the competition. Convince a customer to purchase from you over them!

5. Build a brand story and messaging.
When building a brand, tell customers succinctly who you are. Your messaging should be intricately associated with your brand and conveyed consistently.

- What you offer
- Why people should care
A brand story is an opportunity to communicate on a human level, making a direct emotional connection with your consumers.
6. Deliver consistent communications
The most important thing when it comes to branding is to stay consistent. Develop a certain style and stick with it!
Once a company has developed an effective brand and corporate identity strategy, it must be implemented consistently through every “point of contact” with customers, including in advertising, signage, public relations efforts and so on.
